Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Unqualified Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a supportive secondary setting in the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or aspiring teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience while inspiring students in the social sciences.

In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons across Psychology and Sociology at KS4 and KS5, supporting students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of key theoretical concepts. You will work closely with experienced teachers who will guide and support your professional growth.

• Deliver well-structured Psychology and Sociology lessons following departmental plans

• Support students' progress through clear explanations, guided practice, and effective classroom management

• Contribute to lesson planning, assessment, and feedback

• Build positive relationships with learners to support engagement and achievement

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department

• Participate in relevant training and development opportunities

• Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related subject

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for the social sciences

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Confidence in engaging and motivating young people

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop within a school environment

• Previous experience with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work) is advantageous but not essential
